Principal’s Message

Welcome to Paragon Elementary School- Learning with PBL! Our project-based learning curriculum is a dynamic classroom approach that permits students to actively explore real-world problems through challenging and hands-on lessons. Paragon is a PreK-4th-grade elementary school located in the MSD of Martinsville. Our low student to teacher ratio guarantees that each student receives the necessary support to reach their fullest potential. These small class sizes also allow us to give one on one attention to students and their unique interests.
Our school is equipped with the most up-to-date technology and school safety equipment. Paragon incorporates a 1:1 technology program in grades K-4. Students are also given the opportunity to explore outside of the classroom in a variety of ways through our Art, Music, Physical Education, High Ability, Library, and Technology classes. Students also participate in after-school activities such as Academic Teams, Robotics, Choir, and Athletics. Through our strong PTO, students are given opportunities beyond the regular public school classroom setting.
Our talented staff gets to know each individual child and works with families to support all students in their academic and social needs. Relationships are important at Paragon. Our small school and community is truly one big family. In fact, our theme for this school year is “We’re All on the Same Team” as we will use this theme across all of our curriculum including our character education.
I am proud to be a Paragon Panther! Please feel free to contact our front office at 765-537-2276 if you have any questions or comments.
