  • The MHS fall blood drive will be on Friday, September 12, in the fieldhouse entryway. If you are 16 or older, please consider donating blood. A blood transfusion is needed every 2 seconds in this country. Sign up by scanning the QR codes posted on the bulletin boards in the hallway. Participants will need signed consent forms, and these can be picked up in room 206 or at lunch in the cafeteria the week of the blood drive.

  • Today is September 11th, a very important day in American history. On this day in 2001, a group of terrorists hijacked four airplanes. Two planes hit the Twin Towers in New York City, one hit the Pentagon near Washington, D.C., and one crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers stopped the attackers. Almost 3,000 people lost their lives, and many brave firefighters and police officers helped save others. Each year, we remember this day to honor those who were lost and to remind ourselves about the importance of kindness, bravery, and coming together as a community.
