General Announcements
- The Junior class is hosting movie night on the football field this Saturday November 1st. The film play will be Hocus Pocus. Admission is $7 and includes a small popcorn. You must pre-register using the google form sent to your email and on the flyers posted around school. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event with cash only in the bookstore. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. You can not buy tickets at the door. Join us for a scary good time!
- Shrek is coming to Martinsville November 14th through the 24th! You definitely want to see this show in all of its glory. Tickets are now on sale by scanning the QR code on the Shrek posters around the school. There are posters on either side of the auditorium display case. Come out for a good time and see Shrek and Fiona fall in love all OGRE again!
- NHS is having a meeting on Tuesday October 28th after school from 2:45-3:00
Athletic News
- Congratulations to Laura Barco on qualifying for the state cross country meet this coming weekend in Terre Haute.
- Congratulations to Artesian Cheer who advanced to the State Finals in the Traditional Competition Team and Time Out Divisions! They will compete on November 8 at New Castle.
- Congratulations to Laura Barco who placed 8th in the IHSAA Cross Country Regional on Saturday and advanced to the IHSAA State Finals on Saturday, November 1.
- Congratulations to the Artesian Football team who advanced to the IHSAA Football Sectional SemiFinals. The Arties are at home against Charlestown on Friday, October 31 at 7:30 (note time change). Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online or at the door. No reserved seats and All Sport passes cannot be accepted since it is an IHSAA event.
