The MSD of Martinsville, approved on Thursday, February 17, 2022, the recommendation to hire Jared Crismore, as Head Girls Cross Country Coach at Martinsville High School. Coach Crismore has led the boys’ cross-country program for the past three seasons and guided the team to regional, semi-state, and state appearances. Jared has been active in the running scene in the Martinsville community over the past 30 years while coaching at Wooden Middle School and Martinsville High School. He teaches physical education at Bell Intermediate Academy and will remain as the Head Boys Cross Country Coach.
“No one appreciates the history and values the importance of Martinsville High School Cross Country more than Jared Crismore. We look forward to his leadership with the girl’s and boy’s programs,” stated Martinsville High School Athletic Director Kip Staggs.
