Hello Smith Fine Arts Academy Families,
We are moving to eLearning from home tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd, then begin our (RED Stoplight) on Wednesday, February 3rd through Friday, February 12th for all Smith Fine Arts Academy (developmental preschool through 4th grade students.) Smith will reopen for in-school classes on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. (Please note that Monday, February 15th is Presidents’ Day and all schools will be closed due to the holiday.)
Families, we know that moving to eLearning is challenging. For this reason, tomorrow, Smith will move to an eLearning Day for students who are able to stay home; however, teachers will be in the classroom, breakfast and lunch will be served, and the building will be open for students whose families are unable to attain childcare.
On Wednesday, February 3rd, our RED Stoplight will begin for all Smith students and the building will remain closed until Tuesday, February 16 when students return to the classroom.
Families, due to the high number of student and staff absences we’re following CDC guidelines protocol for isolation, we have no choice but to make this move for the supervision safety of all. We will continue to contact trace and clean buildings and buses. Teachers will ensure iPads and Chromebooks go home with students today.
