Wooden Opens 8/30

Wooden Middle School Returns to In-Person Learning on Monday, August 30

August 27, 2021

Dear John R. Wooden Middle School Parents, Students and Staff,

Thank you for being flexible and helping make our virtual classrooms a success this past week. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back in the building for in-person instruction on Monday, August 30, 2021.

Students who received phone calls/letters and had to quarantine with dates later than August 30, need to continue to follow those guidelines and return to school according to the specified dates. While at home, students can submit attendance and access their instruction through Google Classroom.

When returning to school next week, daily routines and schedules will be adjusted accordingly to limit contact tracing.

Our goal is to keep the students’ schedules and teachers the same, but some will need to be adjusted. If elective classes are changed, we will work to make sure students have another opportunity to schedule those classes for another term.

When students enter the building on Monday morning, they will find multiple locations with lists that will give each student his/her new Success room number. Students will report to their new Success classes and receive new schedules on Monday.

All school athletics will resume on Monday, August 30, 2021.

If you have any questions, please contact the Wooden Middle School office at 765-342-6628. We look forward to having our students back at school and a new action plan to keep our students safe while providing them with a great middle school experience!

Sincerely,

Fred Kutruff
