IMC 2018-19 Policies

IMC Hours

• The IMC is open each school day from 7:10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. No one may stay in the IMC past 3:15, but students are welcome to go to another permitted part of the building after the IMC closes.

Lost or Damaged Materials

Lost materials or those damaged beyond reasonable wear must be paid for at the purchase price. Payment is expected before the close of the school year in which the damage occurs.

Circulation Procedures

• All circulating books may be checked out for a three-week loan period

• The date stamped on the date due slip is date by which the book should be returned

• Students returning a book late will be assessed a 10 cents charge per day, not including weekends or holiday

Overdue Fees

Overdue fees will prevent students from getting a parking pass and graduation tickets. After a student has accrued more than $3, he/she may not check out any books from the IMC.

Food and Drink

Food and drink are permitted in the IMC in designated areas.

Artie Hour

Students must sign up in advance in order to spend Artie Hour in the IMC. AH students may sit in any area of the IMC, must sign in for attendance each day, and sign in/out when leaving the IMC for any reason. Students may talk and collaborate, but it is a controlled environment.
